The church met agreeably to ____ appointment, and after looking to the throne of grace, proceeded to the examination of those who presented themselves for admission to the Church. Having obtained good evidence of their christian character, the Church voted that the following persons stand propounded, to wit, Abigail Skinner, Abigail Pearson, Charlotte Pearson, Sarah Porter, Samuel Hovey, Luther Bailey, Jane Courser, Mary Bailey. Chamberlin, & after a short discourse from St. John 1:50 (the) letter from Peacham Church recommending Asher Chamberlin to our watch, & fellowship was read & accepted proceeded then to administer the ordinance of Baptism by immersion to the following persons, to wit , Samuel Hovey, Susannah Elkins, Mary B. Elkins, Hannah Bailey, Charlotte Pearson, Matilda Whitcomb, Abigail Pearson, Asher Chamberlain. In the afternoon, after sermon, the following persons were
