Glenn Remick passed away on Feb. 25, 2015 at Charlene Manor in Greenfield, Mass. He was born in St. Johnsbury, Vt. on Sept. 4, 1919. He resided in Vermont until 1941 when he entered the U.S. Army until he was honorably discharged as a 1st Lieutenant. During his service, he received a battlefield commission for outstanding service, a Bronze for bravery and a Purple heart for wounds received during battle. Glenn married Shirley McAneaney in New Zealand and returned to the United States to Vermont where they lived until they moved to Greenfield, Mass. They were married for 59 years. He is survived by his sister, Eleanor Daigneault, St. Johnsbury, Vt.; his brother Eugene Remick, Danville, Vt; his remaining children, Glennise and Erik Remick. Per his request, there are no memorial or funeral services.
