PENNIMAN: Mrs. Margaret (Gillander) , 79, of 59 Clayton St., St. Johnsbury,
died early Saturday morning, Feb. 23, 2002, at the Pines Rehabilitation
and Health Center, where she had resided since the first of the year. She
was born in St. Johnsbury, July 11, 1922, the daughter of Robert and
Florence Gillander. She was a 1940 graduate of St. Johnsbury Academy.
She is survived by her husband, Warren Penniman; one son, Rick
Penniman and wife Debbie of Gray, Maine; two grandsons, Richard and
Scott Penniman; four sisters-in-law, Marjorie Shopey of Agawam, Mass.,
Audrey Penniman of St. Johnsbury Center, Marion Penniman of St.
Johnsbury, and Marjorie Penniman, formerly of Davison, Mich.; and nieces
and nephews. Remembrances and burial will be held at the convenience of
the family. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Riverside Life
Enrichment Center, 2104 East Burke Road, Lyndonville, VT 05851, an adult
center which enriched Margaret's last months.
