Patricia "Patty" (Page) Ricker, 86, of Naples, Fla., and formerly of Woodsville, N.H., and Lake Groton, Vt., died Sept. 27, 2013, at the AVOW Hospice, in Naples, following a brief illness. She was born in Newport, Vt., May 16, 1927, the daughter of Gordon Smith and Anna Marie (Elkins) Page. Patty graduated from St. Johnsbury Academy, Class of 1945. Patty married Paul N. Ricker of Woodsville, on June 27, 1948, and together they operated Ricker Funeral Home in Woodsville from 1963 until their retirement in 1986. For many years they wintered in Florida, initially in Sarasota, later relocating to Naples. Summers were spent at the family camp on Lake Groton, Vt. She is a former member of the Woodsville United Methodist Church and is a member of Iona Lafayette Chapter # 42 Order of Eastern Star of North Haverhill. Patty was predeceased by her husband of 64 years Paul N. Ricker on June 9, 2012, and by a brother, Gordon Smith Page. She is survived by her son, Philip P. Ricker of Naples; her daughter, Paula R. House and her husband of Woodsville; two grandchildren, Kimberly House of Lebanon, N.H., and Christopher House and his wife Samantha and their daughter, Lilly, of Hartford, Vt.; a brother, Charles Elkins Page of Enfield, Conn., and Naples; nieces, nephews, and a cousin. There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be on Saturday, Oct. 19, at 1 p.m. at Ricker Funeral Home, 1 Birch St., Woodsville. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Swiftwater Road, Woodsville, with Rev. Clinton Brake, of the Woodsville United Methodist Church, officiating.
