MORRISON: Mrs. Winona E. , 80, of St. Johnsbury, died at home
Monday, May 3, 2004. She was born in St. Johnsbury Sept. 14, 1923, the
daughter of Edwin H. and Elsie (Gallup) Eager. A well-known name to
many, she taught school for nearly 30 years, primarily in St. Johnsbury,
grades 4 and 6 at the St. Johnsbury Summer Street School. Mrs. Morrison
was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in St. Johnsbury and
a former member of the Vermont Teacher's Association. Survivors include
her sister, Winifred Kelly of East Hartford, Conn.; three nephews, Myron
"Mike" Kelly and his wife Dee of Coventry, Conn., David Kelly and his wife
Lee of East Hartford, Conn., and Richard "Rick" Kelly and his wife Darlene
of Somers, Conn.; and six great-nieces and -nephews. She was
predeceased by her husband Elmer J. Morrison Nov. 22, 1995. Services
and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no
visiting hours. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Grace
