Known to family and friends as "Bea," Beatrice B. Vilakis
entered into eternal rest at 11:35 p.m. on Dec. 31, 2008, at Mercy Medical Center
in Springfield, Mass., after a long, courageous battle with cancer.
Bea was 74. She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Margaret "Pat" (Lamontagne)
Buck; brother Richard Buck; sisters-in-law Valerie Buck
and Elaine Petty; and granddaughter Tracie Crisitelli.
Bea is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Stanley Vilakis
of Springfield, Mass.; daughters Toni Buck, Enfield, Conn.; Vikki Stokes, Chicopee, Mass.;
son Marc Burrington and wife Vicky of Sheldon, Iowa; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Siblings include James Buck and wife Linda Ward, Sutton; Thomas Buck and wife Virginia and Dayne Rae Buck,
all of Lyndonville; David Buck and wife Louise, St. Moskal, Littleton, N.H.; three brother-in-laws James
Vilakis and wife Mary, Sanford, Maine, Charles Vilakis and wife Rachel, Blanford, Mass., Ronald Vilakis,
Springfield, Mass.; her former husband Robert Burrington of Saxton, Pa.; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and
friends; her beloved pets Pepper and Buffer. Funeral services were held Jan. 5, 2009, at Tylunas Funeral Home in Chicopee,Mass.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 28, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church,
Pine Street, Woodsville, N.H., with Father Daniel Sinibaldi officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions
