DANIELS: Clare (Sizen), 61, of Northwest Drive, Somers, Conn., died Sunday, Sept. 14, 2003, at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, Conn. She was the beloved wife of Nathan Daniels and daughter of Mildred (Hawkins) Sizen of Enfield, and the late Earle Sizen. Clare was born and had lived in Vermont prior to moving to Somers 31 years ago in 1971. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Brandon, Vt., and a lifetime Girl Scout with the Connecticut Trails Council. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed. Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by a son, Jackson Daniels, his wife Elizabeth, and their daughter Abigail of Cambridge, N.Y.; a daughter, Serena Peck, her husband Matthew, and their children Amanda and Joshua of Georgia, Vt.; a brother, Gary Sizen and his wife Marie of Bush, La.; a sister, Joan Drown and her husband Lenwood of St. Johnsbury, Vt.; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her father, she was predeceased by a daughter Lenore Daniels; and two brothers, Norman and Cleon Sizen. A memorial service for Clare will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2003, at 11 a.m., at the Somers Funeral Home, 354 Main St., Somers, Conn. Her family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, Sept. 16, from 6-8 p.m., at the Somers Funeral Home.
