Joanne (Jody) Fettig passed out of this world February 20, 2017. She was born in St. Johnsbury, Vermont on September 5, 1935 to the late Harold (Jim) Piper and Arlene (Morse) Piper. She grew up in St. Johnsbury and was a 1953 graduate of St. Johnsbury Academy. She was the beloved wife of James Fettig and they celebrated 45 years together. She lived in Scituate 17 years before moving to Sandwich where she worked for the Sandwich School Department for twenty years, retiring as Executive Secretary to the Superintendent of Schools in 1993.
