ST. CYR: Priscilla R. (Ranney) , 62, of East St. Johnsbury (P.O. Box 2, 05838), died at Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital early Thursday morning, June 7, 2001. She was born in Concord, Vt., Sept. 1, 1938, the daughter of Russell and Lura (Dresser) Ranney, and graduated from St. Johnsbury Academy in 1956. Priscilla took care of the books and financial matters for several area companies, first with Ralston Purina and lastly with Northern Auto; she also worked for the former Hagar Hardware and W.T. Grant Co. She was a strong member of the Third Congregational Church in East St. Johnsbury, and was a treasurer of the ladies & #039; church group. She was also a member of Adah Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, and loved to travel. Henry remembers how dear her Siberian husky, Heidi, was to Priscilla. She is survived by her husband, Henry St. Cyr; a brother, Everett Ranney of St. Johnsbury; a very dear aunt, Alice McGinnis of Lyndonville, whose faithful visits were always so appreciated; four sisters-in-law, Giselle Rogalski of Terryville, Conn., Murielle Lang of Enfield, Conn., Anne Woods of East St. Johnsbury, and Helen Haney of Littleton, N.H.; other aunts and uncles, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister-in-law, Everett's wife Annie, March 8, 2000. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in East St. Johnsbury at the Third Congregational Church, with the Rev. Catherine Hinman, pastor, officiating. Committal services will follow at the Grove Cemetery with a luncheon following her burial at the church. Visiting hours will be held Sunday afternoon from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Third Congregational Church, in care of Ralph Chase, P.O.
