WEST ADDISON VT - Walter E. Reed, 76, of West Addison passed away on Oct. 27, 2014, in Middlebury, Vt. Walt was born in West Addison, Vt., on Feb. 28, 1938, the son of Charles Edward and Audrey (Wells) Reed.
He attended school in Addison before graduating from the St. Johnsbury Trade Academy in 1956. In 1958 he married Margaret Bearor.
Walt was employed on the family farm before starting his own bulk milk hauling business, which he operated for many years. In later years, he worked for the Agency of Transportation and retired in 2012.
