Services for Joan Faye Davis were held Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2003
at 2 p.m. from the chapel of McClain-Hays Funeral Home.
The Rev. Dwight Faulkenbery officiated. Burial was in Cedarlawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Davis, 60, died Friday, Dec. 5, 2003 in her home in Warner Robins, Houston County, Ga.
She was born (1943) in New Hampshire and lived in Concord, Vt. for a
number of years before moving to Mississippi in 1961. She had
made her home in Warner Robins, Ga. for the past two years.
She was a member of East Philadelphia Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Julie Neese of Warner Robins,
Ga.; two sons, Keith Weathers and Gerald M. Weathers, both of
Philadelphia; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two
brothers, Ronald Hill of Danville, Vt. and Robert Hill of Miles
Pond, Vt.; and mother, Hazel Hill of St. Johnsbury, Vt.
Pallbearers were Ronnie Jenkins, Charlie Howell, Charles
Rushing, Rudolph Dunn, David Byars and Don Grantham.
