Christine R. Parker of St. Johnsbury, Vt. died at Dartmouth Hitchcock
Medical Center Thursday, Jan. 24, 2008, after a sudden illness. She was 56.
She was born in Newport, Vt. on Dec. 10, 1951, the daughter of Walter and
Carol (Hackett) Leach. She graduated from St. Johnsbury Academy, class of
1970. She married William Parker Dec. 13, 1976. She is survived by her
husband Bill (118 Model A. Dr., St. Johnsbury 05819); daughter Meloney
Parker of Exeter, N.H.; her mother: Carol Fournier of St. Johnsbury; sisters
Diana Chamberlin and husband Denis of Danville, Jacquelyn Reed and
husband Delbert of East Haven, Catherine Beattie and husband Marty of
Danville; two uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; her mother-in-law
Beatrice Parker of St. Johnsbury; brother-in-law Michael Parker and wife
Judy of Danville. Services will be private and held at the convenience of the
family with interment in the spring. Memorial contributions could be
