Dwayne Allen Finn of Concord died suddenly Tuesday, March 9, 2010, in Concord at the age of 56. He was born in St. Johnsbury Feb. 1, 1954, the son of Alban R. and Elizabeth M. (Stanley) Finn. He attended elementary school in Concord and graduated from the trades program at St. Johnsbury Academy with the class of 1972. Dwayne enlisted in the United States Army and served stateside from 1972 to 1976. Dwayne enjoyed the rigorous outdoor work of farming and was also employed as a logger and sawmill operator. He was a lifelong resident of Concord and enjoyed his family, friends and hobbies that included hunting and fishing. He is survived by his father and mother, Alban R. and Elizabeth M. Finn of Concord (P.O. Box 423 05824); his brother Michael A. Finn of Weare, N.H., as well as various aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, May 18 at 2 p.m. at the Concord Village Cemetery. Fr. Dwight Baker will preside. There will be no visiting hours. Memorial contributions could be made to Concord High School for use in the sports department.
