Robert F. Kelliher, 51, of Greencastle, PA, passed away at home early Thursday morning, December 18, 2014 after a two year battle with brain cancer. His passing was peaceful and he was with his loved ones. Born March 19, 1963, in St. Johnsbury, VT, to Robert F. and Virginia R. (Swyers) Kelliher. Robert is survived by; his wife, Christine C. (Bunker) Kelliher, daughter, Rebekah M. Walters, and her husband, Michael, of Ramstein, Germany; his step-daughter, Sarah M. Colburn, of Canandaigua, NY; four brothers: Francis M. Kelliher of Auckland, New Zealand, Daniel P. Kelliher, and his wife, Lori, of Peachem, VT, Edward R. Kelliher, and his wife, Judith, of Staunton, Virginia, and Richard M. Kelliher, and his wife, Melissa, of St. Petersburg, FL; along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, John J. Kelliher. Robert retired from the United States Air Force as a Master Sergeant after more than 25 years of service and went on to work for the Department of Defense as a Civilian in the field of Human Resources. He was a very loving and devoted husband and father, who touched the lives of many friends and co-workers with his generosity and light-hearted personality. He enjoyed sports, reading, listening to music, and collected replica airplanes from the units he served at. There will be an open house at his home to celebrate his life from 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 17, 2015.
