FARR: Blanche A. (Barber), 81, former resident of St.
Johnsbury and Danville, died Saturday afternoon, Dec. 13, 2003
at the St. Johnsbury Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was the widow of C. Leslie Farr, who predeceased her this
past June 1. She was born May 30, 1922 in Lyndon, the last
survivor of five children born to Ernest and Evelyn (Burnham)
Barber. Blanche was a registered nurse, graduating in 1945
from the Brightlook Hospital School of Nursing. She worked
many years for Dr. Benjamin Clark as well as at other area
hospitals and clinics. She is survived by a brother-in-law,
Collins J. Farr of the Canterbury Inn in St. Johnsbury; and
nieces- and nephews-in-law, including Edward C. Farr of
Danville. Spring graveside services will be held at Mt. Pleasant
Cemetery Thursday, May 20, at 11 a.m. Memorial contributions
