Lois Ann (Pearsons) Weyrauch, age 80, passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2016 surrounding by her family at the Northeast Medical Center in Gainesville, Ga. She was born on Feb. 23, 1936 in Holland, Vermont to Carroll and Rena (Gray) Pearsons. Lois was a 1954 high school graduate of the Lyndonville Institute in Lyndon Vermont. On May 25, 1956 she married Arthur William Weyrauch in Hartford, Connecticut. Together, they had 3 children and traveled most of the United States before eventually retiring to Leesburg, Fla. Lois was a life-long avid bowler and worked in the community library. She also enjoyed gardening and was known for her beautiful roses and dozens of cherry tomatoes. After the death of her husband, she enjoyed her annual trips to New England to see her family and friends and visit the Eastern States Fair. Her later life was filled with love and joy with the addition of her two grandchildren, Grayson and Vivienne. Left to honor Lois and remember her love are her two sons; Peter Weyrauch and his wife Jacqueline, Christian Weyrauch and his wife Elena; her daughter, Sherri Weyrauch; her two grandchildren, Grayson Bennett and Viviene Weyrauch; her sister, Alona Payette and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, her brothers Wallace, Dale and Donald Pearsons and her sister Elaine Hood. A memorial service will be held at the Morrison Methodist Church in Leesburg, Florida on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. Her family invites you to join them for refreshments following the service at the church's Family Life Center. Lois will be laid to rest with her husband at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida with family only in attendance. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to Homes for Our Troops.
