On Saturday August 8, 2020, Starr Sadaya Beauvais, loving mother of two children, passed away at the age of 68. Starr was born on August 12, 1951 to Donald and Hariett (Allin) Fluery in Lancaster, NH. She married and bore two children, Heather Lee Beauvais and Matthew Allin Beauvais. In 1985 she joyfully married David G. Hughes and together operated Hughes Property Management of Lynn. In 1996, an experience at St. Patricks Cathedral in NYC led her to discover Reiki Healing Energy. It was love at first sight. Starr quickly sought out the best teachers in the world, Frank Arjava Petter of Greece and Japan, and Tadao Yamaguchi of Tokyo, Japan. She created DovenStar Intuitive Reiki Center of Winchester and Woburn, MA, http://usui-reiki.org, and thrived in her Reiki practice for over 25 years. She described her work as the great honor of sitting in a flow of love energy, providing healing to the vulnerable, precious person on my table. She taught Reiki to over 1,000 people and provided more than 65,000 one-hour sessions. She was loved and respected as a pioneer in her field. Reiki and the love and healing it brought to peoples lives was Starrs greatest passion. Love heals all things and Starr experienced Reiki as Divine Mothers Love. Starr was predeceased in death by her father Donald Fluery and mother Harriet Littleton, and leaves behind her two beloved children, Heather with her husband Steve and their eight rescued fur-babies, and Matthew and his spouse Melissa and his children Taylor, Katie, Deanna, Ashley, and Anna. She also leaves Chuck L. Usher of Lynn, MA, a treasured companion of 10 years, a brother Locke Fluery in Shelburne, VT, a sister Holly Littleton in Hagerstown, MD and 8 nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held for Starr in the future.
