TINKER I am looking for information on ERNEST F. TINKER, son of Dr. Charles Francis Orasmus Tinker, dentist, and brother of Wellington H. Tinker. Dr. C.F.O. Tinker was born in Ashby, MA 6-23-1849, and died in St. Johnsbury, VT 12-1-1913. His wife, Ann Eliza Wellington Tinker, died 2-1-1927; both are buried in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. According to family legend, Ernest and his wife operated a restaurant at the St. Johnsbury train depot that served "the best pies in town."
