Beverly Ann Wilkins Robinson formerly of St Johnsbury and Lyndonville passed away early Tuesday morning, Jan. 22 2013, eight days shy of her 83rd birthday, at Green Mountain Nursing Home in Colchester. Beverly was born to George and Evelyn Wilkins on Jan. 30, 1930. She was one of seven children. Bev attended school in St J and graduated from St Johnsbury Academy in 1948. On Jan. 30, 1950 she married Donald H. Robinson. They raised four children Cynthia (Cindy), Donald (Don), Thomas (Tom), and William (Bill). During her life Bev worked at the Hovey's Shops, Peck Hardware and owned her own sandwich business. She was also bookkeeper for St Andrew's Episcopal Church for many years. Growing up we remember many happy hours camping with our extended family, and in their retirement Mom and Dad enjoyed many years as seasonal campers at Lake Side Camping and Will-O-Wood. Bev was a faithful St Johnsbury Academy alum, and a member of Eastern Star and served as Worthy Matron. Mom was a feisty, hard-working woman who loved to shop, play cribbage and spend time with her family. A week ago she was cracking jokes and causing mayhem at FAHC. She will be greatly missed! She was predeceased by her husband, Donald in 2000; her daughter-in-law Linda (Villeneuve) Robinson in 2003; her parents, three brothers: Kenneth, Richard and his wife Ann; Robert and his wife Elfrieda; two sisters, Priscilla Barrett and her husband, Roland; Jane Donna and her husband, Roger. Beverly is survived by her four children: Cynthia Lamb and her husband, Jack, of Jericho; Donald Robinson of Swanton; Thomas Robinson and wife Melanie (Tori) of Colchester; William Robinson and Cindy Clark of Lyndonville. She also leaves her grandchildren: Christopher Robinson and Doddie Boylan; Nathan Robinson; Jonathan Robinson; Brandon and Lura Beth Barrows; Cameron Barrows and Callie Brynn; Connor Barrows; Kasey and Joel Robinson; Benjamin and Paige Robinson; James Robinson; her great grandchildren: Cody, Lindsay and Hunter Robinson; Caleb and Taylor Robinson Ladue; Sidney and Chase Robinson; her brother Stanley Wilkins and his wife Mary, of St Johnsbury; a sister in-law, Georgette Wilkins of St Johnsbury Center and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held in Lyndonville Thursday, Jan. 24 at 11 a.m. at the Guibord Funeral Home. Friends may meet with the family beginning at 9:30 a.m. through the start of the service. Spring burial will be in Lyndon Center Cemetery on Friday, May 31, 2013 at 2 p.m. Donations made in her memory may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association, VT & NH Chapter, 172 N. Main St., Barre, VT 05641-4124
