Clara Virginia Kimball , 71, of St. Johnsbury, passed away at
home Friday, April 9, 2010, with her loving family by her side. She
had a long battle with cancer. Clara was born in St. Johnsbury on
Jan. 18, 1939, and was a lifelong resident of the area. A St.
Johnsbury Academy graduate of 1957, she enjoyed a long career
with St. Johnsbury Trucking and retired in 1993. Clara enjoyed
flowers, animals, especially her cats, and time spent with family.
She will be remembered for her outgoing personality. She was
married 39 years to Wayne D. Kimball who predeceased her in
1999; she was also predeceased by many brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her two sons, John and Stephen Kimball of St.
Johnsbury; her grandchildren Kristen Kimball, John 'Jake' Kimball
and Sherry A. Kimball; her great-grandchildren; and many nieces
and nephews. She was loved by many friends and family, very
much, and she will be greatly missed by all. It was Clara's wish
there will be no services. Clara loved to read; memorial
contributions, therefore, could be directed to The St. Johnsbury
