BOARDMAN: Wendall H. , passed away Thursday, Nov. 25, 2004, at the age of 72 at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H. He was born in Wolcott on Sept. 28, 1932, the son of Ermine and Merl (Davis) Boardman. Wendall graduated from St. Johnsbury Academy in 1951 and went into the Air Force during the Korean conflict, serving in Germany. He studied agricultural science and graduated from Vermont Technical College in Randolph. He then formed a partnership with Ed Gray at The Hillcrest Farm, formerly known as City Dairy. Wendall farmed all his working life. He is survived by by his wife Norma of St. Johnsbury; seven children: Gregory Boardman of San Francisco, Calif., Julia Boardman St. George and husband Yven of Vergennes, Lucille (Boardman) Morris and her husband Chuck of Carson City, Nev., Sarah (Boardman) St. George and husband Andre of East Tawas, Mich., Lyle Gadapee and wife Susan of St. Johnsbury, Sharon (Gadapee) Parent and husband Paul of Rochester, N.H., Ellen (Gadapee) Tillotson and fiance Michael Burt of Waterville, Vt.; eight grandchildren; nine brothers and sisters: Merl Leithead of St. Johnsbury, Elizabeth Riche of Carthage, N.Y., Gerald Boardman of Ryegate, Carlene Smith of Palmetto, Fla., Eugene Wheeler of Lyndonville, Floyd Wheeler of San Diego, Calif., Eleanor Skinner of Lyndonville, Clara Grabowski of St. Johnsbury, Carroll Wheeler of St. Johnsbury; numerous nieces and nephews. A gathering of family and friends will be held Sunday, Dec. 12, between 1-3 p.m. at the VFW Post 793 on Eastern Avenue in St. Johnsbury. A time for remembrances will begin at 2:30 p.m. All are welcome to attend. Please omit flowers. Rather, memorial contributions could be directed to Kingdom Animal Shelter, P.O.
