Claire D. Gagner, 67, beloved wife of the late Laurent Gagner, passed
away with her family by her side on Saturday, Jan. 1, 2011.
She was born April 1, 1943, in St. Johnsbury, Vt., daughter of the late
Alfred and Lea (Laramie) Daniel. She worked for CONNTAC as an
educational counselor for 25 years. She was an educational woman who
enjoyed traveling and reading many novels.
She is survived by sons Andre Gagner of Ashford and Alex Gagner and his
companion Lucy Feola of Tolland. She also leaves her brother Robert
Daniel of Lyndonville, Vt., and her two sisters Irene Webber of Rochester,
N.Y., and Anita Lang and her husband Malcolm of Peacham, Vt., as well as
her grandson Michael Feola and her two great grandchildren Michael and
Autumn Rose Feola all of Waterbury. She was predeceased by her sister
Louise E. Daniel. Relatives and friends are welcomed on Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2011,
from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at the Tolland Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Merrow Road (Rt.
195), Tolland, CT 06084. A funeral service will follow at noon. Burial will be
at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the
