Note #1 Allen Lumber Company recently uncovered an "inscription block" from a granite grave monument near the railroad depot that is identical to the one located in Mt. Calvary cemetery. This stone has additional inscriptions as follows, "To the memory of Felix Rooney of the Parish of Killasnet County of Leitrim Ireland" It's unknown where the stone came from. Experts speculate it was the original block from the old Mt. Saint Joseph cemetery monument.
